The Ohio State “Luckeyes” and the Holy Buckeyes. Roaring back to gridiron glory, the 2002 iteration of Buckeye Football erased a 32-year national title drought with a seventh National Championship. Filled with one heart-stopping moment after the next, the team’s incredible 14-0 season record was an all-time first for Division I-A and their double overtime victory over the heavily favored Miami Hurricanes in the Fiesta Bowl was an upset for the ages. Freshmen phenom Maurice Clarett, steady-handed Craig Krenzel and two-way player Chris Gamble gave the Buckeye faithful a season to remember in more ways than one. Pay homage.
